Federal land managers have formally withdrawn their authorization of a Canadian mining company’s lithium exploration project bordering a national wildlife refuge in southern Nevada after conservationists sought a court order to block it.

They're not conservationists. They're environ-MENTAL-ists. Why would it be so hard to work with the company to make sure they don't foul the nest while mining the lithium? That's what actual conservationists would do. JMO.

Step 1 - Rover Metals Corp. is pleased to announce that it has it received its exploration drill permit from the Bureau of Land Management announced to great fanfare!

Step 2 - But before a judge in Las Vegas could rule on the request, the Bureau of Land Management notified Rover Metals on Wednesday that its earlier acceptance of the company’s notice of its intent to proceed “was in error.” Announcement limited to FrontPage Magazine and a couple of mining specific websites.

Maybe Biden isn't the only CCP loving commie in the executive branch?

Nobody has managed to make lithium mining anything but an environmental disaster.

We should instead stop with the lithium batteries and stick with our mature oil and gas industry until actually better alternatives emerge—and it is not the job of federal employees to somehow come up with necessary innovations for an industry that the industry can’t come up with itself.
