Face it Repuslican, the GOP is dead post Trump. The “seed corn” DeoSanctus del Shorto Buso outed himself.

Nah...just look at this thread alone. Not everyone is on the Trump Train.

We'll see what will happen in the primaries. It's not a coronation.

Trump is definitely Mt. Rushmore material.

Silly. Based on what, the tax cut bill written by Paul Ryan? 2020 was the worst year for America in the last 50 years. The only thing coming close was Carter's last year.

I always heard the best predictor of future behaviors are past ones.

Trump—same, old now
Biden—same, ancient now
Suburban White women—most still hate trump because he grabbed and the abortion ruling
Black women—will still vote Dem by incredible % (like 90%)
Conservative men—still for Trump
Hispanic—slightly more for Trump but mostly will STILL vote Dem (except Cubans)
Dem coalition of LGBTS, leftists, indoctrinated educated yuppy types—SOLID Dem
Black men—slight improvement to Trump yet still majority Dem

So we might gain a paltry 3 million votes , Biden wins again but by a hair.

What do I have to back this depressing prognosis?….the red ripple of 2022. If anything consumer pain was even worse than now, gas prices were higher, inflation was worse. The only thing that is worse now are interest rates and most/many who will vote Dem can’t buy homes anyway.

Our only hope for victory is to gain more women (emotional —most won’t forgive) and/or the low info moderate prolls of society but they have been too brainwashed to change on Trump as they have been convinced he a great threat via Jan 6.

Maybe a significant recession or skyrocket increase in gas prices might wake the low info crowd up.

Time is running out.

Do you really think we have a chance of winning against the cheating Demoncrats at all? If DeSantis is the nominee, I’ll vote for him. He’ll still lose. If Trump is the nominee, I’ll vote for him — he’ll be cheated again, but the type and fierceness of his fighting might just make it harder for the Commies to cheat it. Who knows.

But the polling is the polling. People want Trump. It is what it is.

We’re not running from the fight, we just want an actual fighter, not a punching bag with a big mouth. Trump hasn’t landed a successful blow on his opposition in YEARS.

Silly? The entire DOJ tried and continues to mess with our elections you stupid buffoon and it looks like he we get chance to “set things right”. This epic, bigger than the anything this country has seen since it’s inception. You are polical pimple, all of you DeoSanctus fluffers are useless. Worse than Democrats.

Unfortunately, that's not going to help us in the Electoral College. Especially with some Conservatives from Michigan and New York relocating to Sarasota, Florida.

It may not be as impactful as you think.

California and New York can lose all of their conservatives to Florida and it won't change the votes in any of those states, since CA and NY are solidly Democrat and FL is solidly Republican.

Michigan is swinging, but it's hard to say if many conservatives are leaving and how many moderates who stay will swing to the GOP this time.

That's the thing about the red state migration; the disaffected voters from the blue states are joining the majority of voters in the red states resulting in a net zero affect on the EV other than from loss of districts due to reapportionment.

On the loss of EV from reapportionment in New York, I read recently that the state legislature wants to redo the reapportionment to get those lost seats back. I don't think that's Constitutional since they already reapportioned and held a mid-term election using that new map. The Constitution says they can reapportion only after the census, which they did. This is just another example of the desperate measures that Democrats are willing to try to keep power.

Our best bet is DeSantis. He's a young Governor from a large state. And he doesn't have Trump's baggage. But he'll have to neutralize the abortion issue. But the suburban white women are not going to like his stand on abortion, in Florida it's six weeks. If it was 15 weeks, maybe he could talk his way out of that one.

The GOP is converting Hispanics and Black men but it's not happening fast enough for us to win in 2024.

One bloc with potential. Asians. But they are solidly Democratic. And the GOP is not able to do any form of outreach to them.

"Maybe you're right. But his slate is sort of clean. Trump has a bad rap so nothing can be done about that. But DeSantis might have a chance with the independents and soccer moms. Right there, he'll win Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia and Nevada."

States DeSantis can't even win the primary, he'll win in the general. DeSantis can't even lead the GOP primary in his home state of Florida, but he'll win in the general.

Riiiiiiight.

Yes Sir, I agree. But I am not satisfied with Trump’s response to Covid. As I was just discussing with someone else today, Dr. Scott Atlas chronicles in his book how Trump was literally scared of Fauci, and turned everything over to him. Out of frustration, Atlas resigned not too long after being appointed himself.

https://stanfordreview.org/a-plague-upon-our-house-by-scott-atlas-book-review/

Very few people have this level of inside knowledge and have shared it. And Atlas seems extremely trustworthy, and conservative.

I also have concerns with Trump and his warp speed “vaccine” but my biggest issue, is how Trump never once has never even mentioned the words “gain of function” which most now concede was the original source for COVID. There were many discussions of that term right here on FR by the summer of 2020, but Fauci was allowed by Trump to stay on, and Trump has never addressed the gain of function research being re-enabled under his administration, or even the research in any terms that I can find. In fact, on his last full day in office, Trump awarded Fauci an official commendation of service.

I still supported Trump at the time but decided I could no longer near the end of 2021, when he came out forcefully in support of the vaccines again, among other things. Thanks.
