The Federal Reserve is about to launch its new FedNow Service, allowing banks to transfer money instantly. But what many describe as just back-end plumbing for real-time payments could be a slippery slope to an "evil" central bank digital currency (CBDC), according to Rich Checkan, President and Co-Founder of Assets Strategies International.
"I'm a big fan of FedNow. But I don't like that it's a slippery slope that leads to the evil of CBDC," Checkan told Michelle Makori, Lead Anchor and Editor-in-Chief at Kitco News. "This is not happening tomorrow, but the cornerstone is being laid, and now is the time to look at whether we can structure them in a way that is more suitable for freedom."
Watch the video above on why this new FedNow System will pave the way to a CBDC.
Is CBDC inevitable?

Sobering discussion of the future of banking, the Dollar, and assault on freedom of citizens.
I did not expect this from a Canadian Source.
The Democrats will instantly steal everyone’s money
Time to withdraw all money from the banks and keep it locked up in the home.
Just as Carpathia planned..................
Indeed they will issue EBT cards with limited spending.
KMG ensues Kiss money goodbye
How will US states be able to legally receive tax payments if the US government doesnโt provide a constitutional currency?
Well, Texas has their own State God Repository.
We don’t stamp coins, but we could do the function easily.
Problem is, there is a limited by nature gold supply. So there is no way for the money supply to grow if tied directly to gold.
But Tied to Gold worked for US for a very long time. We have had financial panics before, but not in my lifetime.
The dollar is losing it’s status for two reasons. One because we are 31.5 trillion in debt (actually much more) and show no sigs of stopping as we add 4 trillion a year to that pile.
And because when we had that trusted position, we used it as a military weapon. So nobody wants to hold their currency in dollars. They are headed straight into a BRICs gold backed basket and will trade with each other, no need for dollar conversions.
"News" like this is really marketing for the guest's companies.
“So there is no way for the money supply to grow if tied directly to gold.”
The only reason to increase money supply is to spend money you don’t have. When money supply cannot grow, prices are stable, money does not inflate away at 2% a year.
Exactly
(central bank digital currency (CBDC))
I keep getting blank stares from people when I mention it.
One cop told me he “doesn’t believe in conspiracy theories” - the rude awakening is going to be ... rude
All these roads will eventually lead to the Mark of the anti-Christ Beast in the middle of the 7 years of ‘Peace and Security’

And I have been studying the Fed's โFedNowโ transition.
AP just put out an article that said the FedNow was not going to turn into CBDC. Of course the AP is never right and always propaganda.
AP = Always Propaganda
They already have.
We’re fine with what money transfer delays that we have. There are always alternatives if a couple of days is too much.
Using the speed of this centralization to justify the path to CBDCs is horrific and should be vigorously fought back.
Just the fact that the Fed has been involved in the move to CBDCs should be the last straw in ending it. Should have been done before the Fed was ever established, but better 100 years late than never. And now dire.
Well, the WEF plans to steel all the property in the world and pay for it with digital currency they pulled out of their A$$. Out of thin air. Out of Hot Air.
Klaus, “in 10 years none of us will own anything and will be happy.”
BS
Likely true.
First part possibly. Second part......not sure his “happy” is equal to my “happy “.
LOL
That’s me!!
I work for Nully!
