Wait, why was the Olympics started in the first place? America should just take it’s ball and go home. That’s about as mature as anything else we are doing. Makes me ashamed to be American.

This has nothing to due with the Americans. This is the International Olympic Committee rules and has been standard practice for the last several olympics. This time it is because of the war of aggression as opposed to doping (which they are probably still doing).

I just looked for a list of athletes banned and surprisingly, Russia and ROC were not on the top of the list.

2018 Pyeongchang
After the Russian Olympic Committee was barred from competing at the 2018 Winter Olympics, Russian athletes deemed to be clean were allowed to compete as Olympic Athletes from Russia.

Still this guy got caught. Its Curling. This a sport best done drunk.
Alexander Krushelnitski, Olympic Athletes from Russia, mixed doubles curling, meldonium

And lastly, 2022 Beijing
By the end of the Beijing Olympics, a total five athletes were reported for doping violations.

Controversy surrounding the ROC
The medal ceremony for the team event in figure skating, where the ROC won gold, originally scheduled for 8 February, was delayed over what International Olympic Committee (IOC) spokesperson Mark Adams described as a situation that required “legal consultation” with the International Skating Union. Several media outlets reported on 9 February that the issue was over a positive test for trimetazidine by the ROC’s Kamila Valieva, which was officially confirmed on 11 February. Valieva’s sample in question was taken by the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) at the 2022 Russian Figure Skating Championships on 25 December, but the sample was not analyzed at the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) laboratory where it was sent for testing until 8 February, one day after the team event concluded.

The Olympics should be beyond politics. This only says that the Games are USA Dominated. Will Men be permitted in Women’s sports? Will these be Woke Games? They have gone down hill faster than the winter games bobsled races.
