Curious if this will be one of those cold cases solved with genealogical dna.
Apparently, he's been on the task force's radar for at least a year.
For folks unfamiliar with the area.
I am not at all familiar with Long Island. I’ve never been there. I always thought it was very densely populated, and I’m amazed someone could dump a body on such a narrow and open stretch of roadway. There’s almost no where to hide, it’s flat as a board and you could be seen from a long ways away by anybody with a pair of binoculars. It doesn’t strike me as ideal place to dump a body, much less 10 bodies. Am I missing something?
Dr. Baden was being interviewed on Fox this morning. He did an autopsy on the first young victim.

New York architect Rex Heuermann is facing charges in the murders of three Gilgo Beach victims, court documents released by the Suffolk County District Attorney on Friday revealed. Mr Heuermann, 59, is accused of murdering Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, and Amber Costello.
Billy Baldwin went to high school with him.
Unfortunately, the killer wasn't actually one of the Baldwins.
This makes me wonder about George Costanza (and Jason Alexander).
Might want want to check where this guy was in Oct/Nov of 2006. The East Bound Strangler, killed 4 sex workers. Bodies found in marshes off Atlantic City. Never pinned the Murders on anyone.

He is most likely a white male in his mid-20s to mid-40s. He is married or has
a girlfriend. He is well educated and well spoken. He is financially secure, has
a job and owns an expensive car or truck. He may have sought treatment at a
hospital for poison ivy infection. As part of his job or interests, he has access
to, or a stockpile of, burlap sacks.And he lives or used to live on or near Ocean Parkway on the South Shore of
Long Island, where the police have found as many as 10 sets of human
remains.It may be the time his wife or kids or parents are away for the summer.
The dumping ground was poison-ivy-covered sand dunes. The architect's wife was out of the country.
