For those clamoring always for more information, I forgot to say the mileage for both electric and gas is close to the same, approximately 200 mile range before a charge or fill up is required.
That spells out the usage of said vehicles short haul and slow in comparison to a much larger ice vehicle used for the long haul carrying much more weight in fuel luggage and people and doing that job much more efficiently.
So Joe needs to be vigorously questioned as to why his way or the highway is the only way. Both industries are important and necessary for life as “We the People” see it not Dick Tators way.
A lot of people in resort communities use golf carts for transportation around the community and that’s fine. Some even go for a jaunt to the grocery store outside the community gates.
That’s great and works out for them. In my case I don’t see it as a good option. I live in a small city. There are a few stores nearby but I really only shop at the Home Depot. The other big one is a Target which I don’t patronize for obvious reasons.
Most stores are 5-15 miles away. Non-starter for a golf cart.
