I am for Trump but I am not uncritical of him.
I think his criticism of DeSantis’s vote as a congressman is pandering to the antinuke hysterics. Why? Like that crowd will ever vote for him. He also should stop the criticism of DeSantis. Trump has the nomination locked now. The Rats are doing a far better job campaigning for him then continuing attacks on DeSantis will ever do. He’s crossing over into pettiness. Time to unite! As far as his policies go, in my opinion he out-Reaganed Reagan! Far far far exceeded what I expected out of a New York Republican Sometime-Democrat. I originally just expected a Not-Hillary!
I will continue to criticize when I think he’s wrong.
If he can’t be criticized, he’s a cult leader. In a Constitutional Republic the leadership should be looked at critically not fawned over like their rock stars. They should expect and welcome civil criticism.

Weird that some who profess to be supporters of a republic and its guaranteed freedoms by being on FR would want censorship like on FaceBook.
These threads were created for supporters of President Trump to engage in fellowship and fun. This is not an appropriate thread or criticisms. Yes, of course we are all human with failings and President Trump is no different. But that is not the purpose of these particular threads and we ask that you respect that. Also please see Jim Robinsons post about adverse treatment and behavior of others on FR.
I saw that and I agree with it.
It works both ways. I will continue to support Trump and will continue to criticize when I think it’s necessary. If you can’t handle it. Ignore me!
On these threads you, like all of us, will be asked to observe the posting rules. There are plenty of threads where discussion and criticism of Trump policies or the man himself are appropriate. They aren’t here, and we’ve pointed that out.
These particular threads have been created in the past, and continue now, specifically for fun fellowship and good times for those of us celebrating our preferred candidate. If you don’t like this you will need to either take it up with the moderators or just don’t post here. Free speech doesn’t mean ruining FR threads you disagree with.
Any more attacks from you on this thread will be considered harassment and treated as such.

Late to the party. They don’t see the big picture. My DH has said some disparaging things about President Trump lately and wants “young blood” like DeSantis.
Youth often is foolish.
The other evening there was a small influx of folks/AI/or paid bots that decided to crash this thread and disrupt. It got pretty nasty, and the owner of the site had to get involved. The site owner eventually posted in the side bar of the forum a set of reminders of who and what FR is. So, I’m thinking in future at the start of every Trump Rally thread, a posting or reminder of rules for the thread need to be presented.
We deserve the right to keep these threads lighthearted and good times for those who support our candidate. Really, it’s always been a place for likeminded folks to come together, get to know one another, and have fun at a rally! Criticism of and political debate about our candidate, his policies, belong on other threads.
