Pence: US will have to fight Russia if Ukraine defeated
The Kiev Independent via Yahoo ^ | July 6th, 2023 | Martin Fornusek

If Ukraine is defeated in the war, the U.S. will have to send troops to fight Russia's further aggression, former Vice President Mike Pence said on the Hugh Hewitt Show on July 5.

"I have no doubt that if (Russian dictator) Vladimir Putin overran Ukraine, it would not be too long... before the Russian military crossed a border where we would have to send our fighting men and women to fight against them," the Republican presidential candidate said.

Pence called for speaking the truth about Russian war crimes, referencing his June 29 visit to Kyiv's suburbs Bucha and Irpin where massacres against civilians took place.

"What's going on in Ukraine is not just warfare. It's evil," he said.

This idiot will never even have the opportunity to influence a decision on such matters.

He’s owned. It’s strange. I have heard some stories that he’s not the church boy they portray him as. Who knows. Not fighting Russia. Bye Mike.

The bigger problem is that Pence is just the mouthpiece for the rest of the DC swamp.

Is this guy stupid? The plan has always been to start WWIII, WAR has always been the preferred method of cleaning up the mess created by Government and the Moneychangers.

Fire up the War machine, get the Bribe money flowing and KILL KILL KILL, until the mess we created is lost in the Fog of War

> Russia’s further aggression

As if that is an absolute certainty. Basically he’s saying that some excuse will have to be made for fighting.

Remarkable how out of touch with Reality this strutting Gluteus Maximus is. His ‘good intent’ can only bring about more suffering and death but, hey, what’s a few peons and serfniks here and there?

Ukraine is IMO in the mess it is in because its elections were not trustworthy.

Secure our country against invaders.

“We will have our nuclear war reset and there is nothing you can do about it.”

Makes you wonder what their endgame really is. Do they really think they can play these games without putting us at great risk of nuclear war? And why is Ukraine in our critical national interest?

Lord, I hope not. I don’t think America’s new military full of sexual deviants and “refugees” is ready for that kind of action. They definitely aren’t ready for prime time.

This is frightening.

There is NOTHING about the Ukraine that impacts my children yet this neocon is willing to entertain the idea that my children should be sent to die there?

For what? His neocon donors?

Our country has lost its mind and all this foreign interventionism has gone too far. How many young Americans must die to support the deep state and their interests?

Our own infrastructure is crumbling yet we continue to fund foreign nations and their corruption with our own.

Quotes from the 1951 Refugee Convention:

Article 23 - Public relief

The Contracting States shall accord to refugees lawfully staying in their territory the same treatment with respect to public relief and assistance as is accorded to their nationals.

Article 17 - Wage-earning employment
....
2. In any case, restrictive measures imposed on aliens or the employment of aliens for the protection of the national labour market shall not be applied to a refugee who was already exempt from them at the date of entry into force of this Convention for the Contracting State concerned, or who fulfils one of the following conditions:
(a) He has completed three years’ residence in the country;
....
(c) He has one or more children possessing the nationality of the country of residence.

Article 34 - Naturalization [and getting the right to vote]

The Contracting States shall as far as possible facilitate the assimilation and naturalization of refugees. They shall in particular make every effort to expedite naturalization proceedings and to reduce as far as possible the charges and costs of such proceedings.

https://www.ohchr.org/en/instruments-mechanisms/instruments/convention-relating-status-refugees

Article 44 - Denunciation [getting out from under the Refugee Convention]

1. Any Contracting State may denounce this Convention at any time by a notification addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
2. Such denunciation shall take effect for the Contracting State concerned one year from the date upon which it is received by the Secretary-General of the United Nations....

NOTE: I do not trust any politician to end leftist migrant mercenary-based political takeovers who has not called for invoking Article 44 to get the US out from under the Refugee Convention.

And my distrust extends to Trump and DeSantis.

The Refugee Convention must be removed from the Democratic Party toolbox by invoking Article 44.

I think what he’s talking about, in Russia “crossing a border”, means crossing a border into a NATO country, which then triggers us to send our military to defend a NATO ally.

Is Putin really wanting to invade other countries, and not just Ukraine? We hear a lot of World War 2 analogies, in which Putin is Hitler, and he’s planning to invade country after country as Hitler did. Is that really Putin’s long term plan, does anyone know?

Yeah, the extinction of the human race and the ruin of our planet is one one way to “clean up” the mess.

I think Mike and his ilk somehow imagine he and his decendents will prosper living in their underground bunkers for thousands of years.
