There was a propaganda poster of the “Boston Massacre” published by Sam Adams, showing the soldiers in formation opening fire at their officer’s command on totally peaceful demonstrators. The reality was totally different.
As a historian I understand this. But the differnce is in those days it was pretty hard to fool the masses. Now we have mass stupidity and they believe everything they are told. Or they are too busy playing video games or partying to care about what happens tomorrow...
