I don’t recall where an angry mob of insurrectionists set fire to stage coaches and burnt down random buildings in 1776. Very little in the way of rioting. There was a shooting in Boston, but the soldiers responsible were given a fair trial and acquitted, represented by none other than John Adams. A shipment of tea was dumped in the harbor, but that was focused and orderly protest.
Because back then news was more honest, and told the whole story...
Do we have that honesty now? No... We are gas-lighted or blacked out.
