I guess this is obvious, but the disturbing thing is that the “Sedition Hunters” are doing exactly what their name says. They aren’t investigating real crimes and “solving” them. Emulating Lavrenti Beria, they are targeting political enemies and HUNTING FOR CRIMES that aren’t necessarily there, to pin on them.
Do America’s “organs of State Security” pay and coordinate this posse of Stasi Lawfare Karens as a way of outsourcing domestic spying operations prohibited to them by law (and a way for the corrupt upper management to skirt reluctant field offices)? Considering the political censorship operations, I’d bet YES.
