It ought to be a question of exactly what was in the bill. AWB 1 showed that the industry will create work-arounds to the ban on features. Banning models probably just leads to new and somewhat different models. I know he can’t get too deep into the weeds on a hypothetical, but an honest assessment would be that AWB 1 was feel-good legislation, at best, and probably served to ratchet up buying.
