I’ve been shopping for a home in Conroe. Do you recommend it?
I like Conroe, but it has gotten very busy, the influx of people over the past 5 years is very noticeable.
Traffic is horrible.
The good thing is that between Conroe and The Woodlands, and even Huntsville, there is everything you need and you never really have to go to the garbage can called Houston.
If you are from out of State, I would say visit during the summer. If you can Handle this place at its worse, then the other 8 months will be enjoyable.
Conroe is a nice small town. The county is one of the fastest growing counties in the US. The downtown hasn’t changed much since the 1930’s. Good law enforcement in Montgomery county.
It is the complete polar opposite of Harris county. I moved here in 1998 and don’t want to go anywhere else.
