Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin has broken his silence after abandoning his armed uprising on Saturday evening, insisting that he marched on Moscow to stop the Kremlin taking control of his mercenary army and denying a plot to overthrow Vladimir Putin.
Speaking in an 11-minute audio clip posted on Wagner-affiliated Telegram channels, Prigozhin claimed the armed uprising was a 'master class' on how Russia's assault on Kyiv should have looked.
He said he only called off his group's surge for the Russian capital to avoid spilling Russian blood, adding that the uprising was intended to register a protest at the ineffectual conduct of the war in Ukraine.

He said: 'We covered 780 kilometers in a day. Not a single soldier on the ground was killed. We regret that we were forced to strike at [Russian] air assets, but they dropped bombs and launched missile strikes.
Up to 15 Russian air force pilots are believed to have been killed by Wagner forces amid the attacks.

This guy is a loose cannon. Putin should have taken him out months ago. It makes him look weak. I suspect though if he were to be replace the next guy will be much more hard core.

The most interesting thing is that there was basically nothing available to thwart them.
Putin was calling in the Chechens to help defend Moscow. The idea that Russia is fighting in Ukraine with massive reserves in Russia waiting to be deployed seems to have been punctured, for anyone paying attention to the events of the last weekend.
Its like Prigozhin is some kind of secret agent...

If any of this is actually true and that’s a big IF, then his life and the lives of his 25,000 mutineers aren’t worth a plugged nickel, despite what Putin promised.

Zelensky just said in a press conference today there will be NO ELECTIONS next year. He said you can only have elections during peace time not war time. So he’s now a dictator. Anyone supporting Ukraine is just a dupe of globohomo.
