RFK Jr. Is Really Scaring Them Now: LA Times Says He’s a Threat to ‘Our Democracy’
PJ Media ^ | 06/21/2023 | Robert Spencer

Posted on 06/21/2023 7:41:34 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has the Leftist political and media elites deeply rattled, and that’s utterly delightful.

Imagine this scenario: a wildly unpopular and manifestly incapable president is running, however haltingly, for reelection. Initially he seemed like a lock, but then he encountered an unexpected challenge from a scion of an old American political family, a man who defies all the conventional categorization of political candidates and has set the establishment on its ear by challenging not only the superannuated corruptocrat in the White House but many of that establishment’s most cherished assumptions.

It would make a great novel, but it’s real life, and it’s an exhilarating reminder that America is still a republic, still a place where the elites can be challenged at all, however entrenched they may appear to be. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has not only challenged the elites, he has frightened them to the core, and that’s wonderful to see. The latest indication of how much of a threat they consider him to be comes from the Los Angeles Times, always a reliable organ for far-Left propaganda. The Left Coast Times is so scared of RFK Jr. that on Monday, it proclaimed, “Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a threat to your health — and our democracy.”

Now, this is absurd on its face and an insult to the intelligence of the handful of remaining Los Angeles Times readers. The Left has now become so divorced from reality that Times writer Michael Hiltzik would have us believe that a contested Democrat party primary is bad for “our democracy.” But a full-out coronation of Old Joe to serve another four years as the figurehead for the shadowy individuals who are really running things? Why, that would be “our democracy” personified.

> If Trump is penned then the only alternative is DeSantis.

I really like Vivek Ramaswamy. He’s a businessman, an outsider, and says all the right things without singling people out for public humiliation.

RFK Jr is doing yeoman work. He is exposing the corrupt Oligarchs/Establishment who run the Democrat party - very much against the wishes of many they claim to represent.

A lot of his voters will vote for Trump when the Democrat Party inevitably screws him over just like they did with Bernie.

Im no Biden fan. BUT if RFK Jr was the only dem candidate, we’d be just as if not more concerned than the Times. His only charm to us is he attacks Biden from the left and is antivax. That’s all he brings to the table. For now he’s noise and I guess the game plan is to exploit it.

The key point is that we have the equivalent of oligarchy. The uniparty establishment and oligarchs are corrupt and implement their agenda regardless of what the voters voted for.

RFK Jr., like Trump, isn't controlled by the political establishment so he's threat to the political elite.

And, for the millionth time, ALL roads of the corruption we're seeing LEAD TO Ukraine and the money laundering operation there. And, that is what the proxy war we started there is all about.

And while he (RFKjr) is not actively “pro-gun”, he is definitely NOT anti-gun and supports the 2nd Amendment and its original intent.

So, as much as it pains me, I might have to temporarily register as a Democrat here in the People’s Republic of Oregon, just so I can vote for Bobby Jr., (against Joetato). If Bobby would come to Portland and walk the streets, he might be able to get enough homeless to vote for him too.

He would definitely split the Dim vote, so that may be a good thing.

Wait, you still think our country is divided by republican and democrat? I think you are missing the obvious battle lines of 3 letter unelected agencies calling the shots, and infiltrating every branch of our government.

You don’t even have a functioning republic with the deep state controlling and running America’s future
Biden doesn’t run anything in comparison, he’s just a straw man in honor of what we used to have.
Obama weaponized the old agencies and added a bunch more and installed them so they would meet their objectives irrespective of whoever was in the oval office.
America is just waking up to the shadow government which is Obama’s third term.
You have to hand it to Obama, he exacted a bulletless coup to insure his death to America agenda.
We see it from another perspective in their endless and mindless persuit of President Trump leaving no stone unturned. In this we get to see the bredth and depth of the deep state’s abuses of power and corruption.

“He does not support open borders and would use a wall for border protection. He says he believes in following the Constitution. He would end the Ukraine war swiftly. Those alone will get him consideration with not only Democrats.”

His priority is implementing the AOC Green New Deal. He has spent his whole life as a dedicated environmental activist.

And all he is doing is showing up and making sense.

We better hope he does not win the primaries- because democrats are stupid enough to think he represents all democrats, talking sense like that

We need to go to ALL the hard core democrat strongholds and encourage people to get out and vote democrat so they can all become gay and make their children trans!

I agree that the original Constitution was written so that we would have a constitutional republic with three federal branches limited in power. However, since the Civil War, that has been incrementally dismantled.

In the twentieth century through progressive legislation we evolved into a more direct democracy when the election of Senators by state legislatures was discontinued and a federal income tax implemented which provided elected officials with access to huge amounts of money for the first time in US history. A professional standing military was organized and an intelligence agency created which has no legal controlling authority over it, except the elected executive.

Now in the twenty-first century, the executive branch has so engulfed the other federal branches through its bureaucracies, that not only do they legislate in spite of Congress, but they are hardly even accountable to the actual “elected” executive who is supposed to be their administrator. The gigantic military/intelligence industrial complex, which has become increasingly aggressive since the world wars, now swallows up more than the income taxes collected annually. Yet Congress’ only solution seems to be to fund ever larger defense budgets and create endless entitlements to keep the taxpayers pacified.

So when the Democrats (and Republicans, too!) scream RFKjr. is a threat to “our democracy” - they mean he is determined to end their dismantling of the US Constitution and cut off their supply of free monies.
