Sorry to hear this Chris. Bed sores are a very serious matter. My mom is in a nursing home now due to bed sores and advanced dementia. I don’t expect her to ever come home. I’m sure Jim will be going home at some point though. I’m glad he’s getting the level of care he needs.

Thank you for the update Chris. Wounds are problematic. We can be trained,
but we aren’t a wound specialist. They can tell a wound is going South days
before we can. This is the right thing to do. Good call.

Sounds like a good and focused plan to get your dad over this hump. May the Lord guide the Dr.s and his care each step until he’s well enough to return home again...even if just for visits... it’s better he get the care from those who are medically trained .
