Irony of gaslighting accusations aside, in what sense has Russia failed to achieve its goals? It still maintains nominal control of 20% of the territory Ukraine had before the invasion. 9 years on, it still maintains nominal control of Crimea.

And now, Russia is bloodying itself against the West's armaments and picking what scraps it can from those it destroys, if reports about them claiming Bradleys and Leopards can be believed.

I’ll try an uninformed suggestion or two.
Do we have a way to get thermobaric or fuel-air bombs to the Ukes that they can deliver them on target? are those “only” dropped from bomber planes that the Ukes don’t have or have air superiority to use for more than one attempted mission for lack of air superiority at the fronts?
How about cluster bombs/munitions? Can those be delivered by surface to air missiles by the Ukes? Don’t we still have Honest John or the equivalent in mothballs that could be re-activated and used? How about old Pershings or Minutemen, with Thermobarics set to go off as air blasts above the targets? Use ‘em up rather than scrap them.

A successful gorilla war requires that the people support the gorillas. The areas that Russia is taking are ethnically Russian and by huge margins support the Russian side. That also has something to do with their being shelled by the hohos from 2014 up to the present Russian rescue operation.

Im thinking we likely have other things in some stage of scrapping or decommissioning that could be clawed back and refitted with conventional arms like thermobarics, cluster bombs, etc.
Could the Ukes make and use mustard gas? Do the Russians have any to respond with quickly?THAT would surprise them, especially if inaccurate targeting on makeshift delivery systems put them off military targets often so they landed unpredictably. It would stink to be a civilian on either side in this battle.
