In her view, and in the view of the similarly Harvard educated CEO, existing Bud Light customer base was an undesirable, dying demographic that they were embarrassed to cater to. They wanted to go after what they saw as the future - the emerging millennial gender fluid hipsters. So stupid only an insular, elitist person with an advanced degree from Harvard could believe it. Hipsters drink craft brews with funky names, not the swill they call Bud Light. And don't believe the crap about the CEO being a Conservative ex military guy. He is a Harvard B School grad and he has every bit as much contempt and distaste for the rubes in fly over country as the most rabid Harvard liberal.
