One of former President Donald Trump’s attorneys has withdrawn from his ongoing defamation suit against CNN just days after removing himself from the embattled pol’s federal defense team.
Jim Trusty cited “irreconcilable differences” between himself and his client as the reason for his request to be withdrawn as the 77-year-old’s attorney in his suit against the cable news channel, according to federal court papers filed Friday.
Those differences, Trusty wrote in the three-page filing, mean he “can no longer effectively and properly represent” the former president.
On June 9, Trusty and fellow Trump attorney John Rowley resigned from the former president’s legal team after he was indicted on federal charges of improperly retaining troves of classified national defense records — and even storing boxes in a bathroom at his Mar-a-Lago estate. *** Trusty and Rowley did not explain why they decided to resign, other than to say the aftermath of the indictment was “a logical moment for us to step aside.” *** Trump sued CNN in October 2022 for $475 million, accusing the channel of executing a “campaign of libel and slander” and making a “concerted effort to tilt the political balance to the left.” ***

Not a surprise. Trump has a history of appointing sleazebag losers. Obviously, nobody can match Trump’s brilliance and few can understand his 4D chess thinking. As mere normal people realize how outclassed they are by Trump, envy and resentment causes them to become bitter and eventually to turn on Trump himself. That is, they become sleazebag losers. This is why Trump should be his own Vice President, his own presidential staff, his own cabinet, and why he [Trump] needs to be his own lawyer. Hardly anybody can relate to the burden Trump has of being Trump. Maybe nobody other than Trump himself knows what a burden it is to be Trump. In some ways, his greatness is a curse. But, for his own good and the country’s, he should accept that he is too great to rely on anybody other than himself.

The indictment misleading pictures. It was actually 102 documents.

Exactly, and it was never stated what was in the boxes. The deep state wants everyone to think that classified material was in all the boxes.
Earlier there were threads claiming that LawFare tactics had made the two main attorneys material witnesses and that, and only that, forced them to resign from his representation in Miami.
This seems to indicate all was not well in representation land.
