Yes. A couple of months ago I was listening to a radio interview of a young African man. China was building his city a modern road system. He was really impressed with that. What a good friend China is!

What this guy doesn’t realize is that some day the bill will come due. It might happen behind the scenes. And he might not even notice it. But China does nothing for free.

For the past 30 years, China has gone around the world building bridges in Africa, building roads in South America...You are right. We are the baddies.

Right, China is the good guy. Idiocy. China lends the money to nations who can't pay it back. Then ends up owning the project.

"The biggest concern is that several African countries will be left with huge debts and grandiose infrastructure that they cannot maintain and run profitably. I liken it to borrowing money to buy a Tesla when you don’t have adequate access to electricity"

Sri Lanka hands over port to China to pay off debt

Hambantota port was signed over to Beijing on a 99-year lease because Sri Lanka cannot repay Chinese loans it took out to build the port in the first place

The US is no longer the good guy on the world stage.

True. But, why in hell are you supporting DeSantis, who flip-flopped on the proxy war in Ukraine and sided with the globalists and Republican establishment on the issue?

That makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever.

Tucker absolutely right yesterday. Trump's hated by the establishment and Deep State because he opposes neocon foreign policy, which is being used a way to enrich our political class and oligarchs.

Ukraine ping

Erik Latranyi: [What a great alliance we have when the big nation bullies the smaller ones.]

Bullying would be what Russia is doing to Ukraine today, and what Russia did to Hungary in 1956. We’re not invading Hungary, let alone annexing it. Heck, we could probably get Hungary expelled from both NATO and the EU. We’re not doing that either. Hungary is free to buy Chinese or Russian arms. There is literally an entire world of alternative arms suppliers out there. Hungary is free to avail itself of those opportunities.

The alliance is about mutual defence. It ain’t about buying only NATO made weapons.

Poland recently bought tanks from South Korea, which ain’t a NATO country

The Russian stuff are death traps, built of shoddy materials and outdated.

Yes. But then Hungary would become dependent on those nations for spare parts. Hungary would be crazy to do that.

The bottom line is that Hungary is America’s friend and ally. Such a country should be punished only under extreme circumstances. We don’t have that here. It’s not even close.

“We stopped being the good guy when we bombed Serbia.”

Ah yes. Wasn’t that yet another ‘wag the dog’ distraction by the Clintons? My memory is foggy on that era. But thanks for the reminder of how evil the Clintons were and still are.

Ukraine probably has priority anyway.

Plenty to go around. Poland received a shipment.

Poland takes delivery of first HIMARS from US-May 15, 2023

Poland has received its first HIMARS – high-mobility rocket artillery launchers – from the United States. The system, which Poland first ordered in 2019, has been used to great effect by Ukraine in its defence against Russian aggression, prompting Warsaw to recently seek to increase the size of its order.

Leaning Right: [The bottom line is that Hungary is America’s friend and ally.]

Hungary is Russia’s friend and ally, not just in word, but also in deed, by backing Russia’s invasion and annexation of Ukraine. That would be Russia, a country that also has thousands of nukes aimed at the US. Hungary is free to be friends with whomever it wishes. But to expect relations with the US to remain as they were, while allied with an existential threat to the US, is simply unrealistic.

“But China does nothing for free.”

It’s worse.

The African man doesn’t realize the Chinese have a very low opinions of Africans. They would exterminate them if they could. Perhaps a virus that only kills Africans.

The US is no longer the good guy on the world stage.

WE are the (neo) Marxists now. DC is the new comintern. Its pushing a post-modern, globalist, humanist ideology, one that believes society can be remade into one eco-friendly, gender, racial paradise, that fights systemic oppression of the ruling class - and now race, and gender

Meanwhile, those at the center profit greatly, and maintain power through promotion of this ideology and empire. And at home, a security state has developed to suppress dissent.

We will spread chaos to small, and non-compliant nations around the globe in service of this ideology and empire.

Does that sound at all familiar?

> Hungary is Russia’s friend and ally <

That’s a wild exaggeration. I’m of Hungarian descent, so I’m not just a casual observer. They’re all gone now, but at one time I had relatives who still lived in the old country. And here’s something I’m sure of. Older Hungarians hate the Russians. Younger ones are deeply suspicious of them. Politicians included.

Ah, but here’s the problem. Hungary is a member of NATO. But it is also an energy-poor nation, and is dependent on Russia for natural gas. So Hungary must walk a tightrope.

The bottom line: Within the boundaries of treaties, Viktor Orbán does what’s best for his country. He will not harm his own country just to make a point. He acts exactly like Trump did.

I suggest someone check out donors to Senator James E. Risch. I suspect he receives heavy donations from NATO and DNC dependent companies.
