To go from being the number one selling beer in the country to having consistent 20+% drops in weekly sales in less than a month is unprecedented. AB would be smart to quietly kill Bud Lite. Perhaps in a year after Bud Lite is gone they could introduce a new reformulated brand.

The VP who single handedly created this fiasco better change her name and move to some foreign country. I would hope that Dylan Mulvaney would become radioactive as a spokesperson for anything. I don’t think he could even boost sales for anal lube.

Modelo is owned by Anheuser-Busch

Anheuser Busch InBev, the world’s biggest brewer, is taking over Mexico’s Grupo Modelo for $20.1 billion, giving it dominance in Latin America’s second-largest economy and adding Corona, the top-selling imported beer in the United States, to its brands.
