Trust that candidate won't betray the base of the party is absolutely the most important issue. DeSantis has already destroyed that trust.

Does anyone think DeSantis is committed to undoing the administrative state? Or to bringing about any fundamental changes to our system ? Not at all. He will sign a few legislations, good ones I will say, but that will be the extent of it. And he will keep the establishment happy. The only reason DeSantis has a following is because he is champion of the Trump hater class.
