I’m hoping that the Democrat Party becomes the Bud Lite of politics.

As a parent of two successful millennial conservatives, I can tell you among their circle of friends, they started abandoning leftism because of the gender non-sense, boys in girls bathrooms, etc. Interestingly, the guys are very defensive of women’s rights. They want their ladies treated with respect.

Not coincidentally, these kids are all employed and many raising families.

There is a fundamental math error involved when comparing the voter patterns of different American generations.

That error is Race.

Baby Boomers are more than 80% white.

Recent generations are closer to 50% white.

Young people of all races tend to vote like their parents - except a little more to the Left.

Since the mid-1970s, young white women consistently vote 40%-50% Republican.

Young white men consistently vote 50%-60% Republican.

Also, the Libertarian Party often captures about 5% of the young white vote.

Since the mid-1970s, young non-white Americans vote 75%-80% Democrat.

American racial voter patterns over the last 50 years have not changed at all.

What has changed is the steep decline in the percentage of white voters.

1976 Presidential Election - 89% white voters

2020 Presidential Election - 67% white voters

They might shift right but still bring the majority of their beliefs with them. They’re brain washed indoctrinated idiots.

The rot is so deep across the board. Like minded states need to ban together for a constitutional convention that would be a beginning. It was the states before it was the federal government, they decided on the feds and gave the very limited powers. It seems the feds are now using extortion against the states with the peoples tax dollars

Trashy by townhall to talk about a article and not even link to it, even if people will never click on the link.

I would like to see those stats broken down by sex, race, and marital status.

Yeah, I think this is partly due to people becoming more conservative as they age. The radical ideas become less aligned with their reality. Nothing new.

However, this is also happening as the D’s become more and more radical. I see a significant portion of young people just not buying what they’re selling anymore, they just don’t say anything. The ‘trans’ crap is a large part of it. It’s also become more widely understood that the D’s are actually the party of racism. From Jim Crow laws, to the KKK, and fighting against the rights of blacks, etc., while the whole ‘the parties switched’ BS becoming exposed, it never happened, people are waking up to the real history of the D party.

I've read that Millennials were born from 1981 to 1995. Which means the oldest will be 42.

Right. So the average Millennial is starting to unpack through the decades of brainwashing. A lot of propaganda and now the world is giving them a valuable life lesson. Gen Z will go through the same thing, but it will take decades.

Even if Townhall linked to the article, you’ll have to PAY to read it.

I for one am not going to pay for the New York Times unless they relinquish the Pulitzer Prizes they undeservedly got and issue a public apology for the lies and omissions they published.

What they call a shift means a few——a few——supporting putting conservatives in work camps rather than executing them. Moderates.

Truly speaking, the USA needs multiple parties rather than two monoliths.

Democrats range from practically communists to close to conservatives. The same for Republicans.

I’d appreciate it if you can show me which add on I can use to bypass any paywall.

The left is the party of thugs, goons and control freaks.

Democrats are going back to their KKK days - democrats now choose winners based on the three K's: Kink, Kolor, and Kin.

Jim Crow democrats rejected merit too - just like modern day democrats. Of course young people - and soon the rest of American - will walk away from them.

"According to Times estimates, while millennials backed Obama, only half of those voters supported President Joe Biden in 2020. Exit polls show an even broader shift, with "Biden winning by just 51-45 among voters who were 18 to 27 in 2008."

They didn't vote for Trump, they simply did not vote.

"And last fall, the young voters of ’08 — by then 32 to 43 — preferred Democratic congressional candidates by just 10 points in Times/Siena polling"

NOT GOP.

Now here from the original NYeT article:

"The Financial Times, for instance, wrote that “millennials are shattering the oldest rule in politics” by not moving to the right as they age. Similarly, the Democratic data firm Catalist found that Democrats essentially haven’t lost ground among millennials and Gen Z over the last decade."

Proof right there, that the Townwhore headline is full of it. Screw Millenials into the ground.

"Trashy by townhall to talk about a article and not even link to it, even if people will never click on the link."

Exactly. And look at Bald Pate Nate's chart, his Millenial movement 2012--->2020 is pure bs, because the article says out loud, that the Milleniduhls voted +10 Congressional for the Democrat in 2020! He has that cohort approaching 50% -- it's simply not possible. The dude is a wacky fraud.
