What surprises me is that the ‘Year of the Lord’ has not already been expunged from Biden’s Presidential Proclamations.

Yeah. What happened to the *common era* and *before common era* crap?

In the years ramping up to Y2K (remember the hype and hysteria...almost approaching pandemic levels?) checks came preprinted with “19” on the date line.

Almost a quarter of the way into the new century they still haven’t started to preprint “20”.

So my protest against “political correctness” and the CE/BCE crap has been to precede the year numberal with “A.D.” on each and every check.

Don’t like it? Don’t cash it.
