President Biden’s onstage tumble at the U.S. Air Force Academy made headlines around the world. But he’s far from the only world leader or political candidate who has taken a highly visible fall.
From Chinese leader Xi Jinping (whose 2019 slip commentators dubbed the “great fall of China”) to Gerald Ford (whose fall while disembarking Air Force One in 1975 was the subject of late-night comedy skits) and other politicians around the world, trips and tumbles are fodder for laughs, cringes — and hot takes.

Trump, as president, looked unsteady on his feet at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 2020. His slow, unsteady walk while descending a ramp led his critics to use the hashtag #TrumpIsNotWell. As The Post reported at the time, Trump is “exceptionally attuned” to his public image and keen on being seen as strong — and his critics were quick to compare the incident with videos of his rival Biden jogging. Trump tweeted that the ramp was “very long & steep, had no handrail and, most importantly, was very slippery” and insisted that the “last thing I was going to do is ‘fall’ for the Fake News to have fun with."
He also made headlines in the United Kingdom when he clutched the hand of Prime Minister Theresa May in 2017 during her visit to the White House. Trump appeared to grab her hand as he walked down a ramp, before patting it and letting go. The incident came as a “surprise” to May, her advisers later reportedly said.

She does a list and references Hillary Clinton first, but the slow walk by Trump at West Point and somehow gripping someone's hand in 2017 is equivalent to the ongoing nursing home bloopers reel of the 81 million vote-getting Biden.

I seem to recall that when Bob Dole fell off a stage during the 1996 campaign, the media joyously ran the clip 24-7 for weeks.

NBC has no credibility left to strain so this isn’t shocking. They exist to cover for and spin for the left. Biden could be caught with a bloody knife standing over his wife and they would run with:
“Not the first President who slipped while cutting his steak”
or
“Why the Biden’s like playing the live version of “clue” and other board games.”
or
“Did Biden catch Jill being a white supremacist.?”
or
“Trump dresses like Biden to murder his wife.”
and finally, when all else fails
“Jill, the b—ch had it coming!!!”

Roosevelt’s health began a steep decline after his nearly 18,000-mile roundtrip to the Tehran Conference in November 1943 to meet British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin on strategy to fight Adolf Hitler. Upon his return, an ailing, exhausted Roosevelt lost weight, and his trembling hands struggled to light cigarettes, sign documents or pour coffee.
The president’s physician, Dr. Ross McIntire, insisted to the press that Roosevelt was in “robust health” and his stamina was “far above average.” But the commander-in-chief’s daughter, Anna, was skeptical. At her behest, McIntire—an ear, nose and throat specialist—arranged for Dr. Howard Bruenn, Bethesda Naval Hospital’s top cardiologist, to examine Roosevelt in late March 1944.
Bruenn delivered a shocking diagnosis: The president was suffering from severe hypertension and congestive heart failure. Roosevelt was prescribed the herbal drug digitalis, placed on a restricted diet, told to restrict his smoking to six Camel cigarettes a day and advised to work only four hours a day—an impossibility for a wartime president.
Although Bruenn had been assigned to monitor Roosevelt, McIntire reported in early June 1944 that the president’s health was “excellent in all respects.” Prominent surgeon Dr. Frank Lahey, who consulted on the president’s condition, hardly agreed and informed McIntire in early July that he “did not believe that, if Mr. Roosevelt were elected President again, he had the physical capacity to complete a [fourth] term.”
McIntire certainly concealed Lahey’s prognosis from the public, and he may have done the same with his patient. “I suspect McIntire didn’t bluntly tell him he wasn’t going to survive, but Roosevelt understood he had a heart problem,” Woolner says.
Days after Lahey’s dire assessment, Roosevelt announced he would accept the Democratic nomination for an unprecedented fourth term.
Some day they are going to find in Biden’s papers documents where he talks about faking his falls. He is going to be known as the “Faker Falling guy” with skits on SNL. Then it will be cool to start imitating falling like Biden, and it will catch on around the world with other politicians fake falling. It will become the greatest joke the world has ever known. People will be practicing it, and it will draw people together in unity and love. Biden and his fake falling will be known for generating world peace and unity. He will become a Catholic Saint and there will be pilgrimages to Scranton and Delaware with people falling all over the roadsides. They will be the Biden Order of Monks each given a stick and a corvette.
The corrupt MSM once again acting as the Biden/Democrat Praetorian Guard in their obvious attempt to shield Biden.
Gerald Ford fell once Biden makes a habit of it the media always has only one eye open and speaks from one side of it’s mouth.
This is the tired and lame strategy they used for B ill Clinton. All the panel shows and magazines said: “Lay off the harshness against Bill Clinton. All married men are unfaithful and just haven’t been caught yet.” A slander.

How many Americans are gullible enough to accept it that “everybody’s doing it” extends to leaders falling down, babbling as they struggle to read teleprompters and leaving the stage to wander the wrong way in bewilderment?

They never reported the injury to the man crushed as Hillary fell against him. Body cast. Sipping meals through a straw. Trying to get off pain pills later.
She was unharmed. There is a scene in one of my favorite movies Stuart Saves His Family (written by and starring Al Franken, the leftist).
The overweight little boy is endangered by his drunken father who makes him stand in front of highway traffic to get a good snapshot of him. He gets hit by a car.
Later quip: “The doctors at the hospital said the only reason I wasn’t killed was I was so fat it cushioned my body.”
Hillary’s rear end, belly and especially thighs protect her.
Oh...I expected the NYT/WaPO, (inset commie propaganda here), to put out stories about how “other” famous people fell down, and how sophisticated people do (and did) headers all of the time. It’s the new sensation, don’t ya know!
