That was my experience taking on leftist indoctrination. One thing I did was read my kids assigned books and work. The indoctrination isn’t limited to a month. It was year round and that was in the 1990’s. Now those kids are the parents and so the schools don’t try to hide it.

Opting out is a fantasy that parents trying to justify sending their kids to most schools are using. There is no such thing as a good public school (and most private schools too).
