There’s this:

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-debt-ceiling-negotiations-push-towards-critical-default-deadline-2023-05-27/

The NY Times posted 34 minutes ago, but they have a paywall.

87,000 more agents
about 250 workdays a year

That’s 21,750,000 possible work days of audits annually, additional.

Or taking one workday to audit 21,750,000 American tax returns annually (in addition to those already likely to get audited).

I have heard that what was cut from the IRS is rather small.

“things will get back to ‘normal’ for another two years”

I was in Walmart about an hour ago. Stuff is still going up in price, most especially beef.

My guess:

$4 trillion increase in debt authorization until 2025
all green tax credits remain
work requirement for SNAP
spending based on 2023+1%
student loan situation put out for committee study
most permitting reforms remain

My guesses are:

The legislation will pass the Senate easily.

Republicans and Democrats in the House may not go along sufficiently for passage.

If passed by Congress, Biden will sign the deal he negotiated.

From the second paragraph, the US Treasury may be on the hook for around $1 trillion.

Don’t respect them. They’re whores. And what does one do with a whore? Either use her for what whores are for, or have nothing to do with her. That’s what whores are for.

There’s a song in that, to the tune of That’s What Friends Are For.

Timing of the deal is causing a lot of spending in the Sunday news shows, that have already been put to bed.

you said ..”Run up the credit cards!”

The vote Wednesday will tell the tell.
Biden “negotiated” so we “won” is not going to cut it.
All spending originates in the house.
Those boys will own it.

Chip Roy for speaker.

George Orwell called the ‘uniparty’ the INGSOC Party (which meant English Socialist), and like today, we are really a uniparty if you vote Republican or Democrat, Democratic Republican, etc. We have been deceived for decades by the Deep State who allows us the appearance that we are in control somehow, replete with straw men on both sides, and and eternal struggle, etc. In otherwords, like the Matrix where nothing is reality. My comment was not aimed at you, but at all of us. Using Orwell’s writing technique, Blindess is awareness, etc., hate is love, Ignorance is bliss, but the STATE is always right.

The East German Communist Party was called “The Socialist Unity Party”. That’s pretty much our Republicans and Democrats.
