The Left’s New Summer of Love meant protests against police complete with looting, burned stores and torched police cars and gunfire in shopping areas.

Ours will mean upset people calling talk radio and others complaining to each other in private.

She said we should burn gay pride flags in protests.

He said: No. That would mean an arrest for a hate crime.

I do not see why only one type is free speech (the “speech” being burning an American flag, or urinating on a picture of Christ). We know the other would mean loss of job, professional credentials, chance to have a good career and chance to stay out of jail. So totally chilling effect on free speech-—for us.

To be honest, this man was sought thanks to social media outcry and later turned himself in and apparently there is a law against his vandalism.

(He was there with a woman on a date. The graves hold the remains of veterans of WWII, Korea and the 1982 Beirut bombing. May they rest in peace.)

A court might rule that burning a rainbow, BLM, or Israeli flag is intended as harassment or intimidation of a protected group.

The latter story is from Canada. I'm not sure if it's yet a crime to burn an Israeli flag in the U.S. I'm guessing it depends on whether the flag burner was "of color" or white.
