I have not bought any north face clothing in years. There is better quality out there. Outdoor Research is good and value priced. Arcteryx is great gear, but expensive.
Yes, Arcteryx clothes are an investment for me, but I love their products.
Personally, I prefer Pattie Gonia for things like a winter coat.
