A lot of stock ownership is funneled through institutions like BlackRock who have repackaged stock ownership through ETF's and mutual funds.

Institutional owners are apparently under the same pressure from diversity departments (previously known as HR and legal) to get Woke.

These Woke corporations and institutions are going to have to hear from customers before they get the message.
