Cut all government across the board 25%. It would hurt like hell but it could save our country and stave off hyperinflation and we could recover faster.
BTW, I am on SS and Medicare so it would affect me but I prepared for hard times.
Social Security is paid by its own funds from money accrued when people work and contribute to it. Any discussion about the debt ceiling involving SS is a flat out lie.
Saw a blurb on the TV that McCarthy wants to raise defense spending and cut everything else 22%.
