The Nice People Who Are Destroying America

Now, after a long life, I've come to understand how common it is for many basically nice, well meaning people to do terrible things in their lives. When few — that is, on the micro-level — are involved, it may destroy families and communities. When many do it, whole civilizations may be destroyed. It is why, particularly on the macro-level, I care little about niceness. As regards people I rely on outside my home — presidents, teachers, airline pilots, doctors, architects, investment advisers, my rabbi — I don't care fundamentally if I'd enjoy hanging out with them. I care about their work product.

Many, on the other hand, care deeply about niceness. They regularly get blinded by its superficiality and the destructiveness it may conceal. They suffer — we all do — the consequences.

Not being naïve and led astray by niceness is an important rule of life. It brings clarity to how one should approach, especially, the many nice folks in our lives now doing terrible things to our country.

Things are much worse in our country now, decades later. Half of America, tens of millions of basically nice folks are hell-bent on destroying all the core values of this wonderful country. The wall has been breached, the foundation unmoored, the center given way, the abyss entered. We watch each day as virtually every norm, tradition, custom and institution of America has been destroyed or is under powerful assault from many nice people.

Don't forget the low-info suburban women raised on "Oprah" and "The View" who vote solely on the basis of emotion. So many ask how Fetterman could possibly have been elected. You need only look to thousands of these women thinking, "The poor man ... He tries so hard!" before casting their votes. The "motherly instinct" is just one more thing for the Democrats to take advantage of.

If Im reading this right, ( halfway down the page) Trump’s share of white women went up from 47% in 2016 to 53% in 2020
Trumps share of white men went from 62% down to57%
Yes more men than women voted for Trump, but it looks like white suburban % women went up even with the media characterizations of him “saying mean things”. And white men % went down? That part is hard to believe.

Of course minorities are a whole ‘nother ball game, then there’s the cheating.

If you can believe these polls anyway. Im just saying the blame might not be as much on white suburban women as you might think. White lefty women on the coasts are loud and brazen but there are a lot of good conservative moms in the midwest and south who know better and as usual the big blue cities on both coasts and Chicago seem to control the rest of the country.

My sister in law is “nice.” She can’t for against abortion because although she claims to be pro life she wants to be nice to the poor mothers. She claims to have a trans great nephew but won’t confront the horrible facts because it wouldn’t be “nice.” I’m sick of these people.

Agree, completely. And one thing to remember, we didn’t always have feral ‘people’, for example, nearly all from broken families. But when one group of people, white women (meaning Democrats), decided there was political value to them in having feral ‘people’, that’s what we got.
