Here is a bit of background on Remdesivir

https://market-ticker.org/cgi-ticker/akcs-www?post=243640

“What was Remdesivir?

It was a three-time loser! It had been trialed as a drug against both Hepatitis-C and RSV, a viral disease that usually attacks young children and can be fatal in them. It failed both trials.

Next it was tried against Ebola and failed there too.”

It was AZT 2.0.

Here is some details on Remdesivirs failures

Late to the party on this thread, I want to congratulate you for citing the NEJM article as regards actual research. So many assertions which surrounded this entire “mRNA marketing” event of the last forty + months have sailed past with the result that comments made by some in such threads as these devolve into debate tricks in place of actual citations. From much other reading, my wife and I agree with your conclusion that Gilead Sciences, Inc. (in ‘collusion’ with Pfizer, by the way) went into the major marketing mode for this “three-time loser” through the corruption of the CDC / FDA which continues to this day.

Additional congrats for "failing" to follow the crowd and get jabbed. We too were for sometime not allowed to vacation in Germany, as we had planned for our "willful noncompliance." Best wishes.
