?, they just opened the door for all the other cities and states to do the same. This is not just an Illinois problem, this inaction will set a precedent that affects the whole nation. There are already other assault weapon and "large" capacity magazine laws being challenged in other courts, so granting this injunction to Illinois would have influenced those other cases in Kalifornia and New Jersey.
