My dad, a smoker, warned us kids back in 1958, NOT to smoke any cigarettes given to us by someone else. When asked why he said “You never know what is in them!”

So at the young age of 76, I have never smoked.

my mother smoked a lot and my dad did too, although he switched to a pipe then cigars then quit completely...

we would be in big trouble if we even played with an empty pack of cigarettes....they didn't even want us to have candy cigarettes....

out of the 6 of us, only one smoked and I think he has now quit....
