Channel 13 News poll conducted by Professor Camil Fuchs and published on Sunday evening found that the previous coalition wins 63 Knesset seats, compared to 52 for the current coalition.

The poll shows that, if elections were to be hold today, the National Unity Party, headed by Benny Gantz, would win 29 seats while the Likud would be the second largest party with 24 seats.

Yesh Atid would be the third largest party, with 19 seats, followed by Shas with 10 seats. The Religious Zionist Party has 7 seats, and Otzma Yehudit has 4, a decrease compared to the 14 seats won by the united slate of the two parties in the last election.

52 seats is not a viable coalition. 61 is a majority, which now nobody will have. This "protest movement" accomplished nothing but destruction. Yet another election would be a disaster.

Benny Gantz is the new flavor in Israeli politics outshining Mr. Netanyahu if this poll is correct.

Israel needs a new election system. They should move to a directly elected president. That would fix most of their problems.

President has very little executive power. He approves the new coalition government after an election, and he cuts ribbons and gets awards and sh!t. The US doesn’t really have a directly elected President, either, since it’s done via the states and the Electoral College, and even then he has limited powers under the US Constitution. But at least he has some executive power.
