Sigh. I’m old enough to remember a time when things you bought at the store weren’t sealed to prevent tampering/poisoning, when kids’ Halloween treats didn’t have to be X-rayed and when town festivals didn’t have to have large barricades erected so that crazed drivers don’t try to kill people.
What happened?
The culture has changed. Western civilization, where principles of civil order and norms, were once characterized by Judeo-Christian ethics, and accepted by EVEN those, who didn't profess religious leanings, is no longer accepted as normal behavior.
