Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida say he'll decide "relatively soon" whether he will launch a 2024 GOP presidential campaign.
DeSantis, who won an overwhelming 19-point gubernatorial re-election victory last autumn, said at a news conference on Friday marking the end of Florida's legislative session that "I felt very confident going into November ’22 we were gonna do very well, but you really had to put up or shut up on that."

But, declaring he's running for president will confirm that he never intended to be governor for another 4 years, and that he is just another political animal, looking for the next position, without caring for the people that supported and vote for him....
The sooner he declares, though, the sooner he ends his future political career.

What desantis' actions have shown is that he is deliberately being deceitful to people about hiding his actual intentions to run for president.
Because of this, how will you ever know if desantis is being deceitful and lying about other things, or not?

I don’t know the answer to this. I do suspect that Fox is pushing DeSantis awfully hard, just as they did the Bushes. I will be doing research looking for a connection now based on the prism of a Bush/Cheney coalition behind the campaign. I feel this nagging suspicion that the DS is trying to push us, as always, in the direction they want to go, so we have to vet ALL candidates with that prism.
