Ukraine's Ambassador to Ireland has called for people to boycott Jameson Irish Whiskey after the company decided to continue trade in Russia.
Larysa Gerasko alleges that Jameson is playing a part in financing Russian aggression in Ukraine by resuming trade in Russia.

I too prefer Bushmill’s — Redbreast mostly being out of my price range.
In a city known for its IRA support, a friend entered an Irish pub and ordered Bushmill’s. The waiter said, “you mean Jameson’s.” No, Bushmill’s. Again, “you mean Jameson’s.” He left.
Bushmill's tends to be lighter in flavor. Yet the recent wave of popularity for Irish whiskey has led to a profusion of choices, many of them obscure and hard to get and often absurdly expensive. Experts (and my own sense of taste) find the pricey, traditional method, triple-distilled Redbreast to be superb.
