It’s four seconds from the front door to my bedroom door.
Of course, a shotgun blast through the window last lit could zap me in my sleep.
So much for the KISS principle.
Facial recognition?
For shooting yourself in the face?
My phone’s fingerprint scanner works about 90% of the the time.
Not good enough for an emergency.
I’d like to retain 10 fingertips.
There is an episode of “Get Smart” wherein a bank robber wears a Don Adams mask.
I an supposing it was outlawed by Colorado Dome of dummies last week.
This is an idea that looks good on paper or in a movie, but not so good in real life. I know the man means well, but some things are better off not being thought up.
“His first attempt to get Ness - he tosses a grenade”
“The Untouchables” “A Taste for Pineapple” (1963)

“The Bazalt Research and Production Association has launched the serial production of the latest rounds for the RPG-7V2 grenade launcher with the unconventional method of striking enemy manpower”
https://tass.com/defense/1302667
“Today, the RPG-7V2 boasts an accuracy of around 40-50 cm per 150 meters of the direct fire range”
In other words, a grenade could be reliably sent through my bedroom window from about 500 feet away.
Does it explode like the Lawgiver II if in the wrong hands?
I was hoping that you program in a face and then leave the gun on the street.
Dont forget the smart thermostats. 😬
True. The planet could be at stake if I do.
Wouldn’t it be ironic if an electric Yugo made an appearance . . . ?
Biden’s SS detail should use these.
What could go wrong? It only takes 3-5 times to unlock my Mac Book with my fingerprint. I’ll stick to my 1911
You’ve been hit in the face with a brick, you wipe the blood away from your eyes with your fingers, and now the brick-thrower is charging you waving a baseball bat. So, you reach for your gun...
I would not assume even that much.
Just another incremental step to make usable weapons unavailable for ordinary citizens. That is the goal of the Left.
New Jersey already passed a law requiring such a feature on all firearms once it was commercially available on any firearm offered for sale to the general public.
That law has since been repealed, as it was unenforceable for a great many reasons. But Colorado may well try another angle of imposing a punitive tax or insurance requirements on firearms without electronic trigger locks.
"It's for the children"...
“...constant stream of mass shootings....” should have told us all we needed to know right?
