Fact and reality - Donald Trump has far more star power and even recognition than Ron DeSantis. DeSantis is growing, of course, but then, he has a future stretching 20-30 years into the future, and to try to rush him to the top slot right now is to court disaster.

There is strong likelihood that Joe Biden won’t even be the nominee in 2024, judging from the rapid rise of RFK Junior.

Sure, young Kennedy has a raspy voice, and some strong opinions, but he also has some of the Kennedy magic, which has still not entirely evaporated after more than sixty years. So any Republican campaign might just start keying to the growing probability that neither Joe Stolen nor “Que mala” Harris is going to be a contender in 2024. Joe is foundering, and badly, a highly visible phenomenon not lost on the majority of Democrat voters, most of whom are not even remotely Democrat Socialists
