North Carolina Lawmakers Unanimously Move To Stop Chinese Entities From Buying Up Farmland

The NC legislature has been making some strong conservative moves lately. If the state can elect Mark Robinson as governor next year, that state may move solidly back into the red state column. NC had been wavering a bit over the past decade having elected Democrat Roy Cooper as governor, but hopefully that can be rectified next year

Last year they voted out liberal Supreme Court judges and reclaimed the conservative majority on the Court which will hopefully reverse the previous courts decision on redistricting.

Need to extend it to all Chinese entities, not just “state-controlled”, because everything in China is state-controlled.

“Need to extend it to all Chinese entities, not just “state-controlled”, because everything in China is state-controlled.”

That is true and hopefully they can strengthen and broaden the laws once Robinson has been elected as governor. With Cooper (D) likely to veto anything much stronger, they have to take what they can get right now. Although technically I believe they have a super-majority in the House, there are still a few squishes who can’t be depended upon.

All Chinese nationals should be banned from owning property. Dare anyone reading this to tell me I am wrong.

That’s all good news and I wish more states would restrict land ownership to US entities.

NC is notoriously progressive, even the republicans. I would like to know more. For example, if China has been doing this as last nc as they have everywhere else, moot point, damage done. Herr Cooper has a lot of power in the legislature.

Does this include American politicians, that are in the pocket of the CCP like Commie Cooper, from buying land in behalf of their communist overlords?

” If the state can elect Mark Robinson as governor next year, “

This move by the legislature will make NC a big red target for another stolen election. Robinson would be too good, and the DS can’t have that.

“Robinson would be too good, and the DS can’t have that.”

If there is one thing the left cannot stand, it is a hard-working black man who treasures his freedom and is not afraid to stand up and say so. They will work harder to destroy a conservative black man than they will a white conservative male. So yes, they will work hard to destroy Mr. Robinson and use whatever methods necessary to do so.

Speaking of North Carolina, we also have this development in the legislature;

https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/north-carolina-bill-would-ban-esg-investment-policies-stalls

“ANorth Carolina bill to prohibit state agencies and subdivisions from using environmental, social and governance factors in hiring and financial decisions is on hold after it was left off a committee calendar.

House Bill 750 would ban state agencies, political subdivisions, trusts, committees, or commissions from using ESG policies in employment decisions. The bill would also ban ESG policies for administration of state employee pension plans or in state contracts.

The bill was slated for a hearing in the House State Government Committee on Thursday but was removed from the calendar.”

https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/senate-bans-nationals-countries-named-national-security-threats-buying

“TX Senate bans nationals from countries named national security threats from buying Texas land”

“Most Democrats and one Republican from Lubbock opposed a bill that bans foreign nationals from countries posing national security threats to the United States from purchasing land in Texas.

The bill, filed by Sen. Louis Kolkhorst, R-Brenham, passed by a vote of 19-12 and has been received by the House.”

___

At least more states are finally paying attention to this threat.

It’s pathetic because common sense is you don’t sell land to your enemy and you damn sure don’t sell land to your enemy around a military base.

Never used to have this problem not to mention all the other F’d up problems this country has when common sense was used.

Why not pass a law that says don’t do stupid shxt?
