Just When Dem Debates Would Have Been Interesting, DNC Says There Will Be No Debates

Well, this is disappointing news. The Washington Post reported Thursday that “the national Democratic Party has said it will support Biden’s reelection, and it has no plans to sponsor primary debates.” It’s understandable: the Dems have a president, of sorts, and so they’re counting on the power of incumbency to help their superannuated kleptocrat get over the top again. However, it’s also immensely disappointing, because after years and years of Democratic presidential debates being dreary displays of candidates trying to out-socialist one another, 2024 Democratic primary debates would have actually had something to offer.

Biden has two challengers, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson. When Kennedy announced his candidacy on Wednesday, USA Today reported that RFK immediately had the “support of 14% of voters who backed President Joe Biden in 2020,” according to a USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll. Williamson had 5%, and another 13% were undecided. USA Today noted that “that is surprising strength for a candidate who has a famous political name but is now known mostly as the champion of a debunked conspiracy theory blaming childhood vaccines for autism.”

USA Today’s confident use of the word “debunked,” however, can’t mask a growing suspicion among an increasing number of Americans that the authorities aren’t being honest with us. The COVID vaccine debacle, with what was originally touted as a single shot that would protect you from a deadly disease becoming multiple shots and boosters that carried side effects that were often worse than COVID itself, only fueled that suspicion. So the establishment media’s confidence that voters will dismiss Robert F. Kennedy Jr. because they dislike this vaccine skepticism may be whistling in the dark.

Next week’s News:

They’ve also decided they don’t need to have an election. The outcome is already clear, so why not save some trouble?

I wouldn’t be surprised if the dems refused to have debates in the general election. That was their tactic in the mid-terms because they know that they have the elections rigged to such an extent that they don’t even have to campaign much less debate.

More evidence, as if any is needed, that our election process is a farce.

How much more anti American and radical can they debate? Kennedy I think helped them with their decision. He would make them all look more lunatic than they are now

And think of all the money that will save!

They can send more funds to Zelensky.

In 2016 and 2020 GOP Primaries and general elections, the Democrats learned that Trump is the Debate Champion.

And the media would applaud the decision. After all, the GOP nominee is a hater. And haters should not be given any air time.

Of course it doesn’t matter who the GOP nominee is. He/she is automatically a hater. That’s just how propaganda works.

I’m waiting ‘til we reach the point where they don’t reveal the candidate’s identity until after the election - they’ll get Pelosi out there to say “You’ll have to elect the candidate to see who the candidate is”. Heck, they put Brandon in office after hiding him in the basement all thru the Fall, and they put Lurch in the Pennsylvania Senate seat even though he couldn’t construct a coherent sentence - a TBA candidate would be the next logical step. And of course it helps if you’ve got the system rigged.

Bidet&Co would get massacred by anyone, in a ‘debate’.

Fixed it. Challengers need to drive this home. The more this is done, I suspect the more those of the Democrat persuasion will wake up (there will always be the 25% idiot factor).

They're certainly acting like elections don't matter.

Biden will be at the beach and in his basement, so, no need to bother with electioneering. “Worked” for him in 2020, so why mess with proven methods?

I would disagree. If you go back to summer of 2019, evaluating how far Joe Biden’s state-of-mind has gone...then project 18 months into the future where a debate with Donald Trump might occur...Joe is mostly unable to handle question (even if you told him the precise question and answer a week ahead of time).

My advice...Trump should hire a comedian to role-play as Joe and set up a 6-minute clip each week for Twitter. I think Saudi TV has a comedian who is perfect as Joe....just hire him.

Actually, it is a very smart move that the republicans should consider.

First of all, these debates that we have had to suffer through for many years now, are not debates. They are beauty contests for moderators and the candidate responses are not spontaneous. They are canned scripted answers that are frequently off topic with respect to the question.

The republicans always, ALWAYS form a circular firing squads in their "debates" rarely doing anything but damage to themselves and the other candidates.

Now, a true debate would be refreshing.

Neither Biden, nor Harris, will be on the 2024 ticket.
