Ron DeSantis should be paying more attention to Floridian financial issues. He’s got big problems with the cost of living in Florida that he could address.
I’m afraid all that culture war stuff is performative in order to get the attention that he wanted focused on him to run for president. Or his donors wanted.
Maybe he wasn’t really that great of a governor anyway. He sure abandoned us fast as soon as he got reelected. Bait and switch. No trust.
She appears to want DeSantis because she works for Fox News. Their corporate wants DeSantis.

Well we could talk about her support for a prez with a record of handing the country to get to fauci n birx. Many, many grandmas died alone in hospitals and homes without their families while he gave big pharma billions we couldn’t find toilet paper.
Freedom to travel, well yeah if you’re his unvetted Syrians, freedom to assemble only if you’re burning cities.
To ensure the tyranny he gave us was permanent he gave us mail in ballots.

I was born ‘69.
So literally I meant in my lifetime all this majorly changed.
We didn’t really experience the ills of the ‘60s but I’m very aware. Because of my conservative parents and my elder siblings, never mind just paying attention to every bit of history. started reading our US News and Newsweek mags in the Carter years.
But I remember quite well the late ‘70s and the terrific ‘80s, a great time to come of age.
In many ways I’m HAPPY I missed the ‘60s, not the least of which would be anger over hippies and the riots. I’m seething now, with all the garbage allowed since COVID. Glad I didn’t have to feel endless seething twice.
