Investigation of non swill drinking DVE’s purported plot against Anheuser-Busch?
Years ago, New York Magazine did a big story about Studio 54, during its heyday in the late '70s. The story described open drug use and other things going on there. In the story, one of the founders was quoted talking about moving large amounts of cash around in the trunk of his car.
According to another story that came out years later, the head of the IRS office in NYC came to the office the morning after he read it, tossed a Xerox copy of the article on an agent's desk, and, addressing everyone in the room, said "is anyone going to get on this?"
Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager were both soon convicted on tax and conspiracy charges and went to prison.
It is telling in here in FreeRep how many already think they have the answers before they know any facts at all.
“Going with the narratives we believe” even before or even disregarding any facts, is what the Leftist LameStreamMedia has to with great calamity to the nation these many decades. Now so many “Conservatives” seem to be relying so much on that kind of thinking as well. Feed, or agree with a narrative, period, and nothing else matters.

The Chinese will respond with the arrests of 100s of US citizens inside China. Even if the FBI arrests were done with the PRC’s permission they have to respond in order to support the narrative.
