Quick answer yes. But I’d expect it will also hugely impact non-stop flights to and from eastern and midwest cities to Eastern Asia (Japan, Korea, China). All those flights skirt the Kamchatka Peninsula.
Might it also affect any efforts to reinforce Taiwan from continental US if needed?
