Oregon's Wyden urges Biden administration to ignore Texas judge's abortion pill ruling

PORTLAND, Ore. — A federal judge in Texas on Friday ordered that access to a common abortion pill be put on hold across the country, and then minutes later a federal judge in Washington ordered the Food and Drug Administration to keep the drug accessible.

The dueling rulings put the medication mifepristone, which has been available for more than 20 years, in limbo.

Not long after the rulings, Oregon’s senior U.S. senator, Ron Wyden, a Democrat, told KATU in a telephone interview that the president and the FDA should ignore the Texas judge’s ruling.

"I think there's no basis for this ruling in law, and I think that the Biden administration can and must ignore the judge and keep mifepristone on the market and this medication available for every woman in America," he said.

The judge’s ruling was certainly unprecedented, as there has been essentially no precedent for a single judge to overrule the FDA’s medical decisions.

Kudos to the judge who blocked the prescription. We should use more such legal tactics.

Selective enforcement is a tool of tyrants and we see two kinds of it. There is the enforcement of a given law against some people but not others, but there is also enforcement of some laws but not others. Both violate the equal application of law.

Just think about the precedent that would follow if a POTUS openly defied a Federal Judge when they don’t like a decision.

If you can do it for a District Judge, why not a US Supreme Court decision?

This is where we are headed, don’t like a judge’s decision, ignore it, which leads to anarchy in short order.

Demonicrats ignore their oath of office and campaign promises. Why do they expect us to obey their stupid laws. They tell us tall tales about climate, economics, disease, and force their dreams of dictatorship over us. Who do they think they are?

“I think there’s no basis for this ruling in law”, says judge Wyden, who really doesn’t believe the judges are necessary in their anarchical framework of (lack of) Government.

The Dung Beetles have learned that Americans are ignorant when it comes to Biden. He’s a cranky, old demented idiot and his “media” is backing anything he does. Stupid Americans allow the Dung Beetle “media” to do their thinking for them. They have convinced the ignorant among us to allow FJB to do anything he wants to do. Biden is out of control and nobody cares. He is pulling unconstitutional stunts one after another and screwing of the American public. NOBODY CARES. We sure as hell don’t need a House of Idiots and a moronic Senate as long as we have Let’s Go Brandon! FJB. It’s time to get rid of those two dollar burners. The GOOBers and Dung Beetles have given FJB carte blanche to do whatever he wants to do.

I could come up with a logical reason to not honor any judge’s order, so where does that lead too? That would lead to anarchy. So a member of Congress is advocating going against our current form of government. I think there is a word for that......

It doesn’t work that way. Commie presidents can just ignore the courts and legislature with impunity (like the Pell grant situation). Republican presidents set off the impeachment firestorm that overtakes their ability to govern.
