Moving closer and closer to a government-managed economy, formerly known as communism.

That’s not the problem, is it?
The problem is what do we do about it.

Too many Federales working from home, meaning they are doing jack-shyte. Pretending they are useful and busy, by issuing meaningless regulations such as this one.
Remember. Downtown Washington, DC is a ghost town these days. During the normal workweek.

While U.S. households have increasingly switched to LED light bulbs since 2015 ... They make it sound like a choice. It wasn't. I like incandecents, but the government doesn't. Not sure which part of the Constitutions lets them decide my lighting choices, but here we are.

In December, the DOE introduced separate rules banning CFL bulbs, paving the way for LEDs to be the only legal light bulbs to purchase.

Then in the following years LEDs will also be banned in the name of some fake ideology or other.

Only clear incandescent light bulbs look good in my beveled glass fixtures outside my garage. Yep. I’ve already had enough of this chit decades ago.

Bend over?
No one has done anything about any of this fake stuff since it began, so why would anyone start now when the broom stick is so familiar in the nether parts?

We're an (almost) all LED home (and a fairly large home at that). I don't find them to be dimmer than incandescents.
I do take issue with the Feds MANDATING it though. Let the market work.
The biggest problem I see with this heavy-handed BS is the little bulbs used for specialty stuff, like range hoods, under-cabinet lights, etc.
Oh yeah, and what about the billion different automotive bulbs, are they really all going to be available in LED by August?

If they can force you to stay in your home, take assigned vaccines, mandate your employment eligibility, forbid public assembly, restrict your travel, wear masks to hide your image, and reassign your children’s gender without your permission, the government can do just about anything they desire to the American public.

When all of this crap started a few years ago I went on line to a Texas light bulb company and ordered CASES of incandescent bulbs in all watts, right now you can not find a regular light bulb in Home Depot!!

Friggin bottom feeding nosy politicians. Why can’t they just stay the **** out of our lives and leave us alone. Most of them are foreign “refugee” pukes anyway that need their asses kicked for sneaking into America and abandoning their own countries. COWARDS.
