Beyond government mismanagement of multiple U.S. war efforts, Americans have seen so many examples of outright government deceit. FBI and intelligence leaders fostered the notion that President-elect Trump was compromised by Russia. The "Russia hoax" persisted for more than two years as a cloud over the head of President Trump and incapacitated the country. Congressional leaders such as House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff promised the American people that he had direct evidence about Trump that warranted the president's impeachment. Later, it became clear that he did not, but that has not stopped him from continuing to push his fabrication as he mounts a Senate bid in California. Fifty-one intelligence professionals and leaders signed a letter implying that the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation and not real. They were all wrong.
Investigations into the origins of the COVID pandemic, continuing attempts to set up some version of a Department of Misinformation and Disinformation – read: the government deciding for you what "truth" is, then punishing citizens who might disagree -- and the weaponization of the government against citizens ongoing in the House of Representatives may expose even more examples of the federal government bureaucracy being deceitful in its interactions with the American people.

Republicans in MANY cases are Democrat lite.
I trust NONE of them because NONE of them have earned my trust.
Sad state of affairs, but politicians have purposely EARNED our mistrust.

It has to do with 2 factors. First, the further away from a metric of accountability a person or group is, the worse their performance (and the greater their opportunity for self-serving). Second, groups (bureaucracies or committees) become like mobs where individual accountability is hard to assign and people's "baser" instincts become dominant.
Conformity kills clear thinking because people who might be very clear-headed and quick of mind as individuals find that in groups their focus is divided between group conformity (conformity to artificial rules) and the problem at hand.
Or, perhaps better said, the unrestricted intellectual pursuit of solutions and performance becomes, well, restricted by the demand to conform when an individual is part of a group.
Needless to say, I am not a joiner or conformist.;-)
My number one reason for not trusting them is because they’re all corrupt, bottom feeding Neanderthals. Decent people don’t run for political office anymore. They don’t want to put their wives and children through all the political commie BS.
To prove my point, just take a look at all the foreign garbage running our government in Washington. Americans don’t want no part of that crap up there anymore so the U.S. Government and Congress is the easiest place for foreign garbage to get themselves a high paying job.

Our “Leaders” are sniveling cowards, which is the end result in a banana republic after the weaponization of the judicial system and the communist press. They all know to tread very lightly lest they be destroyed.
