He’s a scumbag. The bill states the obvious. The governor doesn’t have the balls to pass it and call a spade a spade. How disgusting is that? He makes up a mashed potato excuse that calling kids by their proper pronouns would be taxing/time-consuming for the already overworked, busy teacher. What a joke.
A RINO he is. I believe the governor was a Microsoft exec and personal friend of Bill Gates. How ND elected this guy is way beyond me.

He’s probably right to prohibit it - the wording is decidedly unconstitutional when it prohibits one from using certain pronouns - just as bad as demanding one use certain pronouns.
He Vetoed(STOPPED) a bill that was going to STOP the use of using transgender pronouns.
Meaning - Teachers can use WHATEVER pronouns they want for students.

I live in CT and am retired.
One reason I did not move is exactly what you noted—my rural area is much more conservative than urban areas in every state.
